4. Site of Ben & Notley Ann Holladay Home, known as Holladay's Last Resort. Built by their enslaved labor, the Stagecoach King's home and slave quarters no longer stand, but the original stone wall near the front of the private home can be seen as you pass by on Hwy JJ. Holladay purchased 15-year-old Mariah Dayton (see stops 12, 19, 21, 23) on October 14, 1848, for $515.
