Become a Friend of the Black Ancestors Awareness Campaign 

Founded to excavate Weston’s Black lineage from obscurity, the Black Ancestors Awareness Campaign meticulously reintroduces the lives, histories, and contributions of Weston’s resilient Black community by increasing permanent exhibits and yearlong programs, promoting Weston’s Black forbears, whose unpaid labor, talent, and industry still resonate and enhance the value, legacy, and charm of historic Weston.

Your contributed dollars will enable BAAC to continue its valuable work through an annual Juneteenth Heritage Jubilee, Weston’s Black Heritage Walking and Driving tours, expansion of a museum without walls, creating a Black archive of Weston’s history, a downtown mural, collaborative programs throughout the region that explore Weston’s history, and more.
