18. Home of Mabel Emery & George Bell,

927 Thomas. Mabel served as the Bethune School's teacher for 40 years (see stop 22). Raymond Dydell (1939-1971), Weston firefighter, lived here with the Bells as a boy after his family left Weston for Leavenworth. Raymond purchased the home from Mabel Bell after she retired to Parade Park in Kansas City to live near relatives.
